Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Ann Arbor is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join a customer-focused team. You will learn advanced plumbing skills under a journeyman and perform residential service work including drain cleaning and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety on job and while driving.

Salary

• Guaranteed minimum for 40 hrs/week starting at $25/hr
• Salary Range: $50,000-60,000 (depending upon experience)
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $5,000 (depending upon experience)

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of a journeyman plumber to learn advanced technical skills and execute minor jobs independently
• Perform plumbing service work on residential plumbing systems in addition to whole-house plumbing evaluations
• Experience operating drain cleaning equipment
• Walk customers through service options to ensure solutions fit their needs and budget
• Test each aspect of the job before leaving a home to make sure everything is working properly
• Explain each service performed to the client each time a maintenance or repair is completed
• Ensure clients are 100% satisfied with all work
• Convey a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Available Monday to Friday for 8am-5pm shifts (overtime and weekend opportunities as well!)

Minimum Requirements

• Apprentice plumber license in the State of Michigan
• 1+ year of drain cleaning experience
• 1 year of plumbing experience

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
