Delta Mechanical Inc. is expanding its national water treatment program and seeks a service plumber who can blend consultative sales with hands-on installation.

The role covers education on treatment options and in-home testing, plus installation and maintenance of water heaters, faucets, and water softeners. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in plumbing, a valid license, and a detail-oriented attitude with strong customer communication.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the plumbing trade.
  • Valid Driver's license and ability to adhere to safe driving practices.

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Service Titan experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Educate customers about water treatment options and in-home testing and proposals.
  • Install and service water heaters (gas/electric, tankless, hybrid, direct and power vent).
  • Install and service faucets, disposals, toilets, water softeners, filters, and other fixtures.

Description

Are you an exceptional service plumber that does not enjoy the unpleasantries that come with sewer work? Do you enjoy educating customers about water treatment options that will benefit the health and well-being of their family? If so, then Delta Mechanical would like to speak with you! Delta Mechanical is looking to build out a national water treatment program to parallel our current plumbing footprint. Our unique residential plumber position is a hybrid role that involves both consultative-type plumbing sales and installations while not requiring any sewer work or emergency service work!

For over 30 years, Delta Mechanical has been a leader in providing plumbing services to residents across the United States and we are currently serving the Florida, Colorado, California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada markets. We are rapidly growing and are looking for those like us who are passionate about serving customers. Our plumber position is ideal for those who are entrepreneurial in nature as you will be running your territory as though it was your own business. Self-motivated individuals who are reliable, have excellent customer service, and those who function with integrity are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Educate customers about water treatment options for their home which includes but is not limited to in-home water treatment testing and proposal creation.
  • Installation and servicing of water heaters including gas and electric tank water heaters, tankless water heaters, hybrid water heaters, direct and power vent water heaters, and recirculating pumps.
  • Installation and servicing of faucets, garbage disposals, toilets, water softeners, water filters, and other plumbing fixtures.
  • Ensure the required documentation for each job is completed and uploaded into our system in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain the proper truck stock for the scope of work required.
  • Maintain a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
  • Be responsible for overall customer satisfaction with regard to communication, workmanship, and quality.
Qualifications:
  • Have a positive attitude with a passion for the plumbing trade
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the plumbing trade
  • Ability to operate a mobile device / tablet
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Valid Driver's license and the ability to adhere to safe driving practices
  • Must be completely drug free at all times and pass a background check
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (with appropriate lifting tools) up to 50 pounds
  • Possesses mechanical aptitude and the skill to operate hand power tools and equipment
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Service Titan experience is preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, poles, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Specifically, when the amount of climbing exceeds that needed for ordinary motion.
  • Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. Specifically, if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
  • Very Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds or more of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
