Job summary

J.F. Whitlow & Sons, Inc. in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an experienced Plumber to handle residential and light commercial service, repairs, and installations. You will troubleshoot, install, and maintain plumbing systems while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with potential overtime. A valid license or apprentice card is required, and applicants must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber. At least 2 years’ experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Plumbing license or apprentice card required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Pre-employment background checks are required, including MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
