Job summary

Peoples Rx in Austin, TX is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a part-time/PRN position in a fast-paced retail setting. You will dispense medications, provide expert counseling on therapies and nutraceuticals, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

You'll work with a collaborative team, engage in patient education, and stay current with industry regulations. Immunization certification and compounding experience are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Current pharmacist license in Texas, in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Immunization certification preferred.
• Preceptor experience preferred.
• Familiarity with nutritional supplements.
• Prior compounding experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule, alternating nights and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Able to stand for 8 hours.
