Job summary

Friedman Vartolo LLP seeks a Paralegal to serve as an onsite representative at a mortgage servicing client's office in Jacksonville, FL. You will work directly with the client's team and our attorneys, coordinating filings and case files to keep matters moving on time.

In this role you will support foreclosure and default matters, build strong relationships, and ensure accuracy and compliance with deadlines and court rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in foreclosure, default services, mortgage servicing, or a related legal environment.
• Working knowledge of real estate default services.
• Experience in LPS, Caseware, Tempo, etc. is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients, in person and by phone.
• Superior organizational, research, and writing skills.
• Detail oriented and deadline driven.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and a heavy workload.
• Works well under pressure in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate e-filing with various court systems and document recording.
• Maintain complete and well-organized client and case files.
• Track and adhere to legal deadlines and procedural milestones.
• Prepare file status reports and updates for attorneys and client stakeholders.
• All other related duties as assigned to support client, departmental, and firm needs.

The Position

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking a Paralegal to serve as our onsite representative at a mortgage servicing client's office in the Jacksonville, FL area. You will be a Friedman Vartolo employee who works directly alongside the client's team every day, acting as a key point of connection between the client and our attorneys and legal teams.

The Paralegal supports foreclosure and default matters by preparing and reviewing legal documents, coordinating electronic filings and recordings, maintaining organized case files, and monitoring deadlines and procedural milestones. Because you will be embedded with the client, you will build strong working relationships on both sides, track file progression, and help identify and resolve issues before they turn into delays, keeping matters moving accurately, compliantly, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
