Job summary

MTECH Orthotics in Indiana is seeking an orthotic finisher who is skilled in materials and has a positive attitude. You will cover and pad orthotic shells, grind and finish custom orthotics, and ensure precision in production.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and experience in orthotics. You will work in a fast-paced environment, learning new tools and working closely with a production team.

Responsibilities

• Cover or pad plastic orthotic shells with various materials.
• Grind/finish custom orthotics using grinding and buffing wheels.
• Repair and modify custom orthotics according to specifications.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from staff.
• Maintain a clean working environment.

Job description

Are you crafty? Do you have experience working with materials, glue, upholstering, etc... We are looking for an orthotic finisher. The position requires the ability to work on a team, have good communication with team members and supervisor, as well as be able to complete multiple tasks for meeting deadlines. Your success will be measured by your ability to learn new skills, a positive attitude, precision and accuracy in completing customer order specifications.

We are looking for individuals that can work in a fast-paced production environment, be a self-starter who is comfortable in learning new tools and has a passion for producing a quality product.

Job Details:

• Cover or pad plastic orthotic shells, using coverings such as rubber, leather, felt, or foam.
• Grind/finish customorthotics, using grinding and buffing wheels
• Repair, modify, or maintain custom orthotics, according to specifications.
• Work with common orthotic tools, both power and hand.
• Receive verbal and written instructions from qualified staff as to the production of custom orthotics.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Orthotics experience is required, compensation based on level of experience.
