Job summary

TEEMA seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative clinical team in Seattle, WA. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with physicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate holds WA NP license, national board certification, and current BLS, with strong clinical assessment, patient communication, and EMR documentation skills. Monday–Friday day shifts; onsite care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted WA NP license.
  • Graduate of an accredited NP program.
  • Current national board certification as NP.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions within the NP scope of practice.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
  • Order, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and ongoing health management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when additional specialty services are required.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Follow established clinical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety requirements.
  • Participate in care coordination and other clinical initiatives as needed.
