Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Network Security Engineer to join our team in Nashville, TN. The role blends hands-on operational support with strategic security projects to strengthen the organization’s posture and keep critical services secure.

Responsibilities include NAC governance with Cisco ISE, firewall policy management, and coordination with product owners to deploy, maintain, and improve security controls across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering/ Architecture, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE and firewall policy management.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support and maintenance for network and firewall policy services.
• Perform NAC governance activities using Cisco ISE.
• Execute network improvements and risk reduction initiatives including segmentation and hardware refresh.
• Manage application protection and proxy policy activities.
• Collaborate with internal partners to troubleshoot firewall, cloud policy, and other products.
• Conduct testing and QA for changes and deployments prior to production.
• Assist Product Owners in resolving technical matters and supporting firewall policy and network posture.
