Bark & Mane of East Denver is seeking an experienced Mobile Pet Bather & Spa Specialist to join our growing team. You will work in a fully equipped, climate-controlled mobile grooming salon, providing one-on-one care for pets in their homes.

You’ll thrive working independently and take pride in delivering exceptional care. The ideal candidate has 6+ months of professional bathing experience, strong brushing/deshedding skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Professional pet bathing experience required.
• Experience bathing and drying dogs of various breeds and sizes.
• Strong brushing and de-shedding skills.
• Nail trimming/grinding preferred.
• Valid driver's license if operating a company vehicle.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile environment.
• Ability to recognize matting, coat issues, skin concerns.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, shampooing, and conditioning dogs (and cats if interested).
• Thorough drying and fluffing.
• Brushing and coat preparation.
• De-shedding treatments.
• Nail trimming and/or grinding.
• Ear and eye cleaning.
• Basic hygiene services within your experience and training.
• Identifying matting, skin concerns, or other issues requiring communication with management or the pet parent.
• Safely handling pets of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional mobile salon.
• Providing a warm, professional experience for both pets and their families.

Are you an experienced pet bather who loves working with animals and is ready for a more independent, personalized grooming experience?

Bark & Mane of East Denver is a local woman-owned premium mobile pet grooming company serving Denver and surrounding communities. We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Mobile Pet Bather & Spa Specialist to join our growing team.

Unlike a traditional grooming salon, you'll work in a fully equipped, climate-controlled mobile grooming salon, providing personalized one-on-one care for pets in the convenience of their own homes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bather looking to grow who is comfortable working independently and takes pride in delivering exceptional care.

What You'll Do

• Bathing, shampooing, and conditioning dogs (and cats if interested)
• Thorough drying and fluffing
• Brushing and coat preparation
• De-shedding treatments
• Nail trimming and/or grinding
• Ear and eye cleaning
• Basic hygiene services within your experience and training

This role does not require performing full haircut or styling services.

Compensation

25–27% Commission + 100% of Your Tips

Commission is based on experience, skill level, performance, and ability to manage appointments independently.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has at least 6+ months of professional bathing experience and is comfortable managing appointments independently.

Requirements:

• Professional pet bathing experience required
• Experience bathing and drying dogs of various breeds and sizes
• Strong brushing and de-shedding skills
• Experience with nail trimming/grinding preferred
• Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments
• Ability to recognize matting, coat issues, skin concerns, and signs of stress
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Reliable, dependable, and punctualComfortable working independently in a mobile environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required if operating a company vehicle
• Ability to safely lift and handle pets, with reasonable accommodation where applicable
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their comfort, safety, and well-being

Preferred, but Not Required:

• Mobile pet grooming experience
• Experience with double-coated breeds and heavy de-shedding
• Experience with doodles and high-maintenance coats
• Cat bathing experience
• Fear-Free, AKC, NDGAA, or other relevant certifications
• Interest in continuing to develop grooming skills
