Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on multi-functional water/wastewater projects required.
• Ability to operate on construction sites and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Review and comprehend blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Lay out large and small diameter mechanical piping and equipment such as clarifiers, filters, chemical rooms, aeration basin systems, influent fine screens, and pumps.
• Help monitor safety for all on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Help the Project Superintendent monitor project labor.
• Understand the process of equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring.
• Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
• Knowledge of different types of process piping materials and connections (PVC, steel, SST, DIP).
• Knowledge of forklift, scissor lift and boom lift operations.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
