Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a Journeyman with 3+ years of field experience to install machinery and equipment per layout drawings. You will read blueprints, interpret manuals, and perform assembly, alignment, and installation tasks with hand and power tools.

The role requires the ability to work independently, travel to sites, and maintain safety standards across projects. A valid driver’s license is required; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Journeyman with typically 3+ years field experience.
• Must read blueprints and diagrams and perform work independently.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints and layout plans to determine procedures.
• Dismantles machines using hand tools.
• Moves machinery with hoists, dollies, and rollers; installs equipment per plans.
• Assembles and installs equipment using cranes and power tools.
• Aligns machines using hoists, jacks, and measurement tools.
• Performs assembly and fastening to foundations; may weld or rivet.
• May operate engine lathe or adjust robot programs.
