An established industry player in lumber production is seeking an experienced Millwright to join their team in the picturesque Thompson Falls. This role involves performing skilled mechanical tasks, including the repair and maintenance of various machinery such as motors and hydraulic systems. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in mechanical work, particularly in sawmill operations, and must be able to work independently and collaboratively. Experienced Millwright position.

If you have relevant sawmill experience and at least 2 years of mechanical experience.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and metalworking is required.
Millwrights perform highly skilled mechanical tasks, including installations. Bring your knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and metalworking, as these are required skills.
You will be tasked with the repair and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the plant. This may include, but is not limited to, equipment such as motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
In a downtime situation, you must be able to use your skills to analyze the cause of breakdowns with equipment. Then you will determine and carry out maintenance or repair actions required to return the equipment to effective operating conditions.
All workers at Thompson River Lumber must follow and adhere to safety lockout procedures and strictly adhere to plant safety rules, as well as follow excellent housekeeping practices to help maintain a clean work environment.
You must be able to work independently as well as in a group; good communication is always essential.
Applicants must be motivated, self-starting individuals with a good work ethic and flexible schedule.
Occasional lifting of 100+ pounds and routine lifting of 50+ pounds is required.
Individuals must be able to complete their job in a safe manner in a variety of environments. Good communication skills are essential.
Wage DOE. A valid driver’s license is required.
