The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Experienced / Mid-Career Software Engineer focused on Anti-Tamper. You will lead software architecture and development for security solutions protecting critical military information, working with embedded hardware and software across Boeing defense platforms.

You will contribute to documents, architectures and interfaces, collaborate with leads and customers, and help deliver secure software for next-generation anti-tamper and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field; 2+ years' related work experience or equivalent
• 2+ years of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
• Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability

Responsibilities

• Supports the development of documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
• Support and be accountable to program engineering leads in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns

Successful candidates for this role will lead the development and maintenance of hardware and software-based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology.

The Product Security Anti-Tamper Team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is growing and currently seeking a Experienced / Mid-Career Software Security Engineer, in the field of Anti-Tamper. This position will support the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) division business organization.

Position Responsibilities

• Supports the development of documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
• Support and be accountable to program engineering leads in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
• Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
• This position is expected to be 100% onsite Travel may be required up to 10% of the time

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
• 2+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
• Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
• 4+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
• 1+ years of experience with lifecycle Configuration management (CM) tools experience (GitLab)
• 1+ years of experience utilizing Agile tools (Jira)
• Experience in technical leadership with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
• Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
• Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper
