Job summary

Viper International Drilling and Well Service Inc in West Lafayette, IN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production running safely and efficiently by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment problems, and support upkeep of trucks, forklifts, and other equipment while coordinating with production and management to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least five years of maintenance/production experience.
Able to read blueprints and troubleshoot multiple systems.
Knowledge of PLCs and 480V three-phase electrical systems.
Must follow safety procedures.
Good communication and time management.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems.
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with appropriate coordination.
Maintain trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
Communicate equipment status and repair needs with staff and management.
Follow safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
