Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program.
• Licensed as an LPN within South Carolina or a compact state.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/family centered care and act as partner and adviser.
• Assist with preparation, examination and procedures, including data collection and vital signs.
• Document findings accurately in the medical record and within approved policies.
• Perform telephone and in-person screenings and prioritize patient calls regarding medications and conditions.
• Maintain examined rooms and supply areas; ensure documentation complies with standards.
