Job description

Job Title: Experienced Line Cook

The Fox Hill Club is seeking an experienced line cook to join our team. This full-time position offers a pay rate of $17.00-$22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meal ingredients as directed by the executive chef.
• Prepare fresh produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning.
• Prepare meat by trimming, cutting, and portioning.
• Prepare simple dishes such as breads or salads.
• Mix or prepare condiments, dressings, and sauces.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
• Assist with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn sanitation and safety regulations.
• Basic knowledge of food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced, stressful environment.
• Strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

• High school or vocational coursework in kitchen basics preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing and working in a kitchen environment.
• Exposure to heat, steam, and cold.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have weekend and evening availability.
