Job summary

Mariani Enterprises, LLC is seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our landscape team in Clackamas. The role diagnoses, repairs, and maintains landscaping equipment and company trailers and vehicles.

You will diagnose, repair and perform routine maintenance on small engines such as mowers, blowers, chainsaws, skid steers and trenchers, and you will troubleshoot hydraulics and electrical systems. A valid and insurable driver’s license is required; CDL not needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with small engine repair and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Basic automotive repair knowledge.
• Valid & insurable driver’s license (CDL not required).
• Must supply a personal basic tool set; specialty shop tools provided.
• Experience with hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting.
• Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and conduct routine maintenance of small engines including lawn mowers, blowers, chainsaws, skid steers and trenchers.
• Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Communicate with landscaping crews and supervisors regarding repairs and service needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
