Job summary

AdventHealth Nursing in Tampa is seeking a part-time Night Shift RN to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and administer treatments per protocol. You will monitor responses, adjust plans, and educate families on conditions and self-care, contributing to excellent patient outcomes in a critical care setting.

Required RN license with associated certifications; Florida background check, and commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in critical care units is preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (Cerner is preferred; EPIC also valued).

Job Description:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses. Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
