The Learning Experience #428 is seeking a passionate Lead Kindergarten Teacher to join our California team. You will create welcoming classroom spaces, implement the LEAP Curriculum, and collaborate with families to support children’s academic and emotional growth.

You will work in a state-of-the-art preschool setting with ongoing professional development, health benefits, and opportunities for career advancement within our centers.

Qualifications

• One year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required).
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required).

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow.
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Kindergartners in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Partner with the daycare center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals to support your center's success.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
