Fred Anderson Kia of Greer is seeking Experienced Automotive Technicians to join our expanding service team. As a technician, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to manufacturer standards, while collaborating with service advisors to ensure the best customer experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of technician experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Possess one or more ASE certifications.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform factory scheduled maintenance and follow manufacturer repair procedures.
• Test drive vehicles to identify concerns or issues.
• Communicate with service advisors about repairs and additional needs.
• Present vehicle condition and repairs professionally to customers.
• Work as a team with service department professionals.
• Participate in classes and training to stay current with vehicle maintenance.
• Stay up to date on products and maintenance requirements.
• Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills.
• Deliver the best service experience to every customer.

What we are looking for:

• Individuals who can perform factory scheduled maintenance and follow all manufacture repair and diagnostic procedures
• Test drive vehicles to identify any concerns or issues
• Someone who can communicate with service advisors about repairs and additional needs for vehicle
• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of vehicles
• Work as a team with the service department professionals
• Participation in classes and training to advance knowledge of working on vehicles
• Stay up to date on products and vehicle maintenance requirements
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Strong focus on providing the best service experience for every customer
• Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record is required
• Highschool diploma or equivalent

What you can bring to the table:

• Technical Skills: Have at least 2-3 years prior technician experience. Should have the ability and knowledge to conduct repair orders and mechanical work on vehicles. Maintain the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles in accordance with the manufacturer standards. Possess one or more ASE certifications.
• Consistency: Produce quality work every day and focus on fixing it right the first time.
• Leadership: Be able to answer questions regarding vehicles, the dealership and service. Work towards Master Technician certification if not a Master Technician already.
