Job summary

A&G Infusion Nursing Services Inc. seeks an experienced IVIG Infusion RN to deliver in-home infusion therapy with a patient-centered focus.

You will provide safe, efficient care for individuals with chronic conditions requiring IVIG and other therapies, while educating patients on self-administration and safety. The role involves performing IV insertions and managing lines, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring thorough documentation of interventions and progress.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year infusion therapy experience, including IVIG.
• Proficiency with peripheral IV insertion and central line management.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer IVIG, antibiotics, TPN, and other specialty medications in patients’ homes.
• Insert and manage peripheral IVs, PICC lines, port-a-caths, and other central lines.
• Perform blood draws and monitor patient response during infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on self-administration, medication management, and infusion safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and follow individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing interventions and patient progress.
