Job summary

Climate Systems LLC is seeking a motivated Service Turnkey Technician to support retrofit, replacement, and installation projects for commercial HVAC systems. You will work under the Service Turnkey Team Lead, executing turnkey work safely and efficiently while upholding quality and customer service standards.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of HVAC installation or retrofit experience, can read blueprints, and operate hand and power tools safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of HVAC installation, retrofit, or commercial service experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, components, and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment submittals.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, and installation equipment safely.
• EPA Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently install, replace, and modify HVAC systems and components in service turnkey projects.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, building plans, specifications, and equipment submittals.
• Troubleshoot installation and operational issues and restore systems to proper operation.
• Assist with system startups, functional testing, and commissioning.
• Complete job-specific documentation including startup forms, warranty paperwork, and daily job notes.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to stage equipment and materials accurately for assigned jobs.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to Service Turnkey Helpers.
