Job summary

Riley Plumbing Heating & Air is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our Carson Valley service team. This full-time, year-round role includes paid training, a take-home service vehicle, and competitive hourly pay.

You will diagnose heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, perform repairs and routine maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction across residential sites. With 20+ years of service in the valley, we provide the equipment, support and benefits

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC service experience required.
• Ability to diagnose HVAC equipment and determine solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, and system performance.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and tune-ups.
• Willingness to travel within Carson Valley area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system-performance issues.
• Complete repairs and component replacements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups.
• Test equipment and verify proper system operation.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance.
