Job summary

Energy Pro Heating & Cooling in Portsmouth, VA is seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician for a full-time role. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systems, travel in our company vehicle, and document service visits with clear customer communication.

You must have EPA certification; NATE preferred; 3+ years of field experience. The position offers an 8:00 am–5:00 pm weekdays schedule with some on-call duties, overtime, and a take-home vehicle plus

Qualifications

• Minimum EPA certification required for residential HVAC work.
• 3+ years field service experience preferred in residential HVAC.
• Experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing residential HVAC systems including split, pack and ductless models.
• Ability to work independently and maintain clear customer communication.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Step into a rewarding career with Energy Pro Heating & Cooling as a full-time Experienced HVAC Technician in Portsmouth, VA.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

You will work a steady 8:00 am - 5:00 pm shift, Monday through Friday, with some on-call responsibilities. Overtime is available, and you'll work every other Saturday, giving you both stability and the chance to earn more.

All That You Need Is

• Physical hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing residential HVAC systems
• EPA certification
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain, repair, and replace residential split systems, package units, and ductless systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose heating and air conditioning equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to serve the South Hampton Roads region

Preferred

• NATE certification
• 3+ years of field service experience
• Experience answering customer questions, resolving complaints, and providing technical guidance

As you work, you will document your services, maintain accurate job records, and prioritize clear communication with every customer. You will answer their questions and provide multiple service recommendations to ensure their satisfaction.
