Job summary

New World Van Lines in Chicago, IL is hiring experienced mover apprentices to load, unload, and move household goods at our temperature-controlled facility. You will help ensure safe handling of items, maintain neat docks, and support a professional team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Professional demeanor and reliability.
• 6 months to 1 year moving experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Able to pass a criminal background, physical and drug tests.
• Flexible schedules; no night work; some Saturday work available.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks at the loading dock of our facility, ensuring safe handling of items.
• Maintain safety of items and proper storage; keep the facility and vehicles clean.
• Present a professional demeanor at all times and support a collaborative team.
