Job summary

Undisclosed is seeking an Equipment Operator / Pipe Layer to join our excavation and storm sewer installation team. The role is outdoors, operating heavy equipment, and contributing to essential infrastructure projects.

You will operate excavators, dozers, loaders, and haul trucks, install storm sewer systems, and work in trenches. The job requires physical labor, safety focus, and the ability to read plans and stay on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators, dozers, haul trucks, and other heavy construction equipment is required.
• Previous pipe laying experience preferred.
• Storm sewer installation experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor and work in trenches.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments.
• Strong attendance record, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work at different job site locations as project needs require.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Current CDL not required, but definitely added opportunity
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including excavators, loaders, dozers, and haul trucks.
• Install storm sewer systems, including pipe laying, grading, and utility connections.
• Work in trenches to assemble, install, and connect storm sewer components.
• Perform physically demanding labor as needed to support field operations.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance and adjustments.
• Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and site layouts.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Work effectively as part of a crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
