Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck Dealership and Leasing group seeking a Body Journeyman to perform all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair Bodyman under minimal supervision. You will handle skilled body work, troubleshoot major problems, and assist in training apprentices.

The role requires a positive can-do attitude, five years of body repair experience, and owning the necessary tools.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in truck body repair or related body repair.
• Positive can do attitude.
• Must possess tools required to perform responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled and complicated body work on heavy-duty truck equipment with minimal supervision.
• Performs trouble shooting on major problems.
• Works with and help train apprentice Bodymen.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Maintains favorable relations with customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
