This is not an apprenticeship; we seek established talent with strong guest relationships, ready to focus on behind-the-chair work with comprehensive studio support.

Qualifications

• Licensed Texas cosmetologist with valid TX license.

Job description

You've already built the skills, the relationships and the reputation.

Your next salon should give you more time to use them—not more business overhead to manage.

Station PINK is building its founding team at Firewheel Town Center, and we're looking for experienced hairstylists and colorists who have already established themselves behind the chair and are ready for a different kind of salon opportunity.

This is not an apprentice or new-graduate position.

We're specifically looking for licensed professionals with at least 3 years of professional behind-the-chair experience, strong technical ability and a genuine ability to build long-term guest relationships.

You bring the talent. We'll help support everything around it.

Station PINK is a new luxury, inclusive and modern salon built around exceptional consultations, beautiful hair, guest experience and professional growth.

Color will be a major part of who we are.

We're especially interested in professionals experienced in:

• Hair color and formulation
• Blonding and balayage
• Dimensional color and highlights
• Gray coverage and gray blending
• Color correction
• Precision cutting
• Curly and textured hair
• Extensions
• Brazilian Blowout and smoothing services
• Luxury consultations
• Retail and home-care recommendations

Aveda experience is a plus, but it isn't required.

Already working independently?

We understand why talented stylists choose booth rental or a salon suite. Independence can be great.

But independence can also mean being the stylist, receptionist, inventory manager, marketer, bookkeeper and business owner—all at the same time.

If you've built a successful clientele but would rather spend more of your energy behind the chair, Station PINK may be worth a conversation.

Who This Is For

Required:

• Active Texas cosmetology license
• Minimum 3 years professional behind-the-chair experience
• Strong professional color and/or cutting ability
• Portfolio, Instagram or examples of recent work
• Excellent consultation and guest-service skills
• Professional, dependable and team-oriented approach
• Desire to build and retain loyal guests

Especially valuable:

• Established clientele
• Advanced blonding or color expertise
• Dimensional color and corrective color
• Extension experience
• Luxury or upscale salon experience
• Aveda experience
• Existing guests who may reasonably choose to follow you to Firewheel/Garland

This opportunity is for experienced professionals. It is not an apprentice, cosmetology-student or new-graduate position.
