Job summary

Lombard Veterinary Hospital in Lombard, IL is seeking a dedicated Groomer to maintain the appearance of dogs and cats. You will trim fur, brush coats, clean ears, trim nails, bathe and dry pets to help them look and feel their best.

Qualifications

• Grooming experience for dogs and cats is preferred.
• Ability to handle animals safely and comfortably during grooming.

Responsibilities

• Groom dogs and cats, including fur trimming, brushing, bathing and drying.
• Clean ears, trim nails and maintain hygiene during grooming sessions.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of pets and provide a positive client experience.

Lombard Veterinary Hospital was established in June 1959 by Dr. Paul and Mary Jo Arndt to provide the animal population of greater DuPage County with a complete health care facility. Some of our clients remember the early days when Dr. Arndt’s family lived in the apartment upstairs. Ownership passed to the youngest daughter, Dr. Georgianne Arndt Ludwig, in October 2012. We are a full-service, American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited veterinary hospital, capable of handling most medical and surgical cases. The Groomer will help maintain the appearance of both dogs and cats. This includes but not limited too, cutting and brushing of the fur, cleaning ears, nail trimming, giving baths along with drying fur.
