Generator Service Technician | $27–$35/hr

Naples, FL | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM | Overtime as Needed

Empowered Global is a family-owned electrical contractor serving homeowners and businesses throughout Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, and surrounding communities. We're growing our generator service team and looking for technicians who enjoy diagnosing problems, working with their hands, and developing their technical skills.

Whether you're an experienced generator technician ready to take on more complex troubleshooting or an electrical professional looking to expand into generator service, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

You’ll be responsible for keeping residential and light commercial standby generator systems operating reliably. Your day-to-day work may include:

• Performing scheduled generator maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
• Diagnosing system failures and determining appropriate repairs
• Replacing components and completing corrective repairs
• Using wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer information
• Recording service findings, repairs, and parts accurately
• Explaining findings and recommended repairs to customers
• Maintaining a professional, safe, and organized work area

Your level of independence and responsibility will depend on your experience and technical knowledge.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to solve problems. You'll be a strong fit if you:

• Have 2–3+ years of generator, electrical, or related field experience
• Have 3+ years of generator service and repair experience for senior‑level opportunities
• Can read or are comfortable learning to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Have electrical training or technical school experience
• Have Generac or Kohler certification – preferred, but not required
• Own basic hand tools
• Hold a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Are comfortable working indoors and outdoors, including attics, ladders, kneeling, crouching, and other physically demanding environments
