Garage Door Technician (Experience Preferred)

Red Mountain Garage Doors is expanding our Birmingham team and hiring Garage Door Technicians. Experienced technicians can earn $60,000–$80,000+ annually, and we are also willing to train mechanically inclined individuals with strong customer service skills through our apprentice program.

What You'll Do

Install and repair residential and commercial garage doors and openers

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

Document completed work with notes and photos

Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites

Recommend additional services and upgrades when appropriate

Qualifications

Garage door installation or service experience preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work on ladders

Dependable, professional, and self-motivated

High school diploma or GED

We welcome mechanically inclined candidates with strong work ethic, construction experience, automotive repair experience, maintenance backgrounds, or other hands‑on technical skills. Our paid apprentice program provides the training needed to build a successful career in the garage door industry.
