Responsibilities

• Manage current fundraisers (Golf Tournament, Gala, Appeals, United Way Donor Campaign, pickleball tournament, raffles).
• Create new revenue strategies, work with grant writers, and cultivate donor relationships.
• Chair fundraising committees and oversee committee activities.
• Organize mailings for appeals, memorials, thank-you letters.
• Maintain Advent House website and social media channels.
• Process donations and ensure accurate record-keeping in Donor Snap.

Job Description

This is a 20-32 hour per week salaried position, excellent for job sharing. Days and hours to work are flexible. Must be motivated, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a hospice-like home environment.

Implement the growth and development of fundraising events for small non-profit in order to maintain financial stability. Advocate for and promote awareness of Advent House within the community.

Duties: Maintain and foster growth of current fundraisers, including-Golf Tournament, Annual Gala, Annual Appeals, United Way Donor Campaign, pickleball tournament and raffles.

Develop a comprehensive strategy to increase revenue such as-create new fundraising events, work with grant writing experts, strategic marketing, nurturing current donor relationships while cultivating new ones.

Serve as chair of fundraising committees and oversee all activities of committees.

Organize mailings for all activities-appeals, memorial acknowledgments, thankyou letters etc.

Maintain Advent House website and social media channels.

Process incoming donations and ensure accurate record keeping in Donor Snap.
