Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a skilled forklift operator at our location in Hicksville, OH. The role involves moving, stocking, and preparing shipments, with duties including loading, unloading, and equipment operation to meet shipping requirements.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of forklift experience, a Level B certification, and the ability to communicate in English with warehouse staff and management. A valid driver’s license is preferred and the position is full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or any combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of recent experience operating a 10,000+ pound capacity forklift or heavy equipment.
• Demonstrate accuracy of work, good organization skills as well as the ability to work as a team player.
• Effectively communicate, in English, with warehouse personnel, management and supervisors via two-way radio, email and in person.
• Ability to read and interpret Shipping Authorizations and Daily Ship Schedules.
• Must maintain a Level B Equipment Operator Certification and proficient using all large material handling equipment to transport, bundle and stage material for shipment.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate an all-terrain forklift to move, locate, relocate, and stock materials per shipping procedures and customer requirements.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Pull and prepare materials for shipments.
• Use small hand tools and overhead crane as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of yard bin locations and review Shipping Schedules and Bills of Materials.
• Contribute to team effort and maintain high productivity and safety.
