Sarasota Ford is seeking a high-level Diesel Technician to work on Ford diesel vehicles, especially Super Duty platforms, in a on-site shop in Sarasota, FL. You’ll perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with precision and pace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with diesel engines.
• Ford Power Stroke or Ford Diesel Certification strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with Ford IDS, FDRS, or equivalent OEM diagnostic systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle advanced diesel engine repairs, diagnostics, and performance issues.
• Specialize in servicing Ford Super Duty diesel platforms (including Power Stroke).
• Accurately document all work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with service advisors and parts staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, professional workspace in line with safety standards.
• Keep current with all Ford technical bulletins and required factory certifications.

Pay Range: $80,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience and certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with diesel engines, ideally in a Ford dealership environment
• Ford Power Stroke or Ford Diesel Certification strongly preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with Ford IDS, FDRS, or equivalent OEM diagnostic systems
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in a high-paced shop
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
