Job summary

Firetrol is seeking a Fire Systems Inspector in Tucson, AZ to perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire protection systems with minimal supervision. You will diagnose issues, document inspections, and provide detailed reports with corrective actions.

The role requires 5+ years in fire sprinkler or alarm systems, excellent customer service, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license. Must pass background checks and MVR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field installation or service experience in fire sprinkler or alarm systems.
• Proven record of delivering excellent customer service and care.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers.
• Ability to work independently, as well as with other team members.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Pass drug/alcohol and background screening, including motor vehicle records.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire protection systems with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing and troubleshoot issues during inspections.
• Document all inspections and information needed to perform repairs.
• Provide detailed reports and recommended corrective actions to customers.
• Work includes climbing ladders, stairs, lifting at least 50lbs, and walking long distances to inspect buildings.
• Interact face-to-face with customers at hospitals, schools, restaurants, and other facilities.
