Job summary

Ethos Risk Services is seeking an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and gather evidence for insurance claims. Expect stationary and mobile surveillance, video capture, and thorough reporting for clients.

The role requires driving, a reliable vehicle, and a Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one. Independent field work with variable hours and travel may occur.

Qualifications

• Prior covert surveillance experience with video footage.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Own reliable personal vehicle (prefer tinted windows).
• Handheld camcorder with zoom and covert camera; stabilization equipment encouraged.
• Reliable laptop, cell phone, and internet for admin tasks.
• Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Case preparation by reviewing preliminary reports and case information.
• Field surveillance from vehicle to capture high-quality video evidence.
• Draft detailed, court-ready investigative reports summarizing activity and findings.
• Finalize case file by submitting reports and uploading video footage.
• Coordinate with field supervisor and operations teams for guidance.
