HomeWell Care Services CA285 in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a dependable, compassionate bilingual caregiver for weekends only (Saturday and Sunday, 8am-8pm). This part-time position offers consistent weekend hours and in-home care for older adults and individuals needing assistance.

Responsibilities include companionship, activities of daily living support, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and dementia care support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Weekend availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Experience caring for seniors or adults needing assistance.
• Reliable transportation and dependable, patient approach.
• Willingness to complete background checks and agency requirements.
• Dementia care experience preferred; CNA/HHA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Support dressing and grooming; mobility assistance as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Offer medication reminders and documentation per agency policy.
• Assure a safe home environment and accompany transport when applicable.

What You'll Do

As a HomeWell caregiver, you may assist clients with:

• Companionship and social engagement
• Personal care and hygiene assistance
• Dressing and grooming
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Transportation and errands, when applicable
• Dementia and Alzheimer's care
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
• Providing updates and documenting care according to agency requirements

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is bilingual in English and Spanish
• Is available to work both Saturday and Sunday
• Has caregiving experience with seniors or adults who need assistance
• Is dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional
• Is comfortable assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
• Has reliable transportation
• Can communicate effectively with clients, families, and the HomeWell team
• Is willing to complete all required background checks and employment requirements
• Has dementia or Alzheimer's care experience - preferred
• CNA or HHA experience/certification is a plus, but not required
