Job summary

Columbia Machine Inc in Vancouver, WA is seeking an experienced panel assembler to build and wire industrial control panels. You will read electrical prints, perform complex panel layouts, and assemble multi-door systems with limited supervision.

The role requires 2–5+ years in electrical or panel assembly, plus vocational training. A strong emphasis on safety and quality, with a broad benefits package and opportunities for growth, is offered.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2-5+ years of experience in electrical or panel assembly preferred.
Vocational or technical training or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Build panels and related components from electrical and layout prints.
Perform complex panel layout tasks (drilling, cutting holes, pulling wires, etc.).
Wire and assemble multi-door or high-level panel systems (e.g. HLs, SP, MBS, FLs, VFDs).
Identify and take independent corrective action on issues related to BOMs and prints.
Identify and report material or parts issue to the Material Handler.
Communicate discrepancies in drawings or BOMs with Electrical Engineering.
Use hand and power tools proficiently.
Other duties as assigned.
