The Arc of Ocean County is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential services. This full-time day-shift role offers meaningful daily impact and opportunities for professional growth.

Starting pay is $20.70 per hour, with earning potential up to $22.70 per hour through shift differentials and overtime. Location options include Toms River, Barnegat, Lacey Township, and Brick Township, NJ.

Qualificações

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have at least one year of prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).
• Have medical case management experience.
• Hold a valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing, with no more than five (5) motor vehicle points.
• Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct support to individuals living in residential group homes, supervised apartments, and supported living programs.
• Assist with personal care, preparing meals, medication support, transportation, household tasks, and other everyday living activities.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)
• Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

• Maintain accurate electronic documentation, daily service notes, and all other required records.
• Share relevant updates with supervisors and coworkers to help maintain continuity and consistency in services.
  Teamwork Across Residential Services
• Collaborate with Residential Services colleagues to deliver dependable, compassionate support.
• Help cultivate a team environment that values inclusion, individual dignity, mutual respect, and personal growth.
• Apply your Direct Support Professional experience and medical case management knowledge to the day-to-day needs of the individuals receiving services.
