Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC in Missoula, MT is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician at our TA Travel Center location to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy‑duty trucks and trailers.

You will work in a busy shop, follow safety guidelines, and help keep travelers on the road. Starting pay is $25+ per hour plus commission, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, some holidays in interior and exterior conditions.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy‑duty trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers in collaboration with TSA or Manager.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.

Job Overview:

TA Travel Center/LV Petroleum is seeking an experiencedExperienced Diesel Technician at one of our busy travel center locations inMissoula, MT. As a Diesel Technician, you will provide accurate, efficient service to customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a professional and accommodating manner. Our Technicians ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came.

Starting pay $25+/hour +commission.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customers are exceeded.
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
