Job summary

Oral Arts Dental Lab in Mobile, AL is seeking an experienced Removable Dental Lab Technician to fabricate dentures, RPDs, and related appliances. The role requires precision work and adherence to prescriptions.

You will read dental prescriptions, mount cases, set teeth, and collaborate with a small team to deliver high-quality prostheses. On-site position with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret dental prescriptions, work orders, and case instructions for accurate prep.
• Set denture teeth according to established standards and patient needs.
• Follow dentist prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain tools, materials, and workspace in a safe, organized way.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Oral Arts is a full-service family owned and operated dental laboratory. We manufacture dental prostheses, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, orthodontic appliances, etc. and have an immediate need for a full-time Experienced Removable Dental Lab Technician

Responsibilities

Description of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• May perform duties in any of the following areas:
• Fabricate bite rims and prepare record bases for denture cases.
• Mount denture cases on articulators using appropriate bite registrations and prescribed specifications.
• Read and interpret dental prescriptions, work orders, and case instructions to ensure accurate case preparation.
• Set denture teeth according to established standards, patient-specific requirements, and the prescribed tooth arrangement.
• Follow and interpret dentist prescriptions accurately.
• Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools, materials, and equipment clean and well-maintained, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
• Deliver consistent and reliable work performance.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by management.

Required Experience

• 1-2 Years of recent removable technician work
• Skilled in working with small tools and delicate materials to craft dentures with fine detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
