Job summary

MidTown Reno Smiles Dentistry in Reno, NV is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support the dentist, help patients feel at ease, and ensure a clean, efficient clinical environment. You will perform X-rays and intra-oral photography while maintaining strict hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Assisting the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and perform x-rays and intra-oral images as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories according to ADA guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the ADA guidelines while complying with state and federal regulations.

The Opportunity

As both a patient and clinician advocate, you are a fundamental part of the Perfect Patient Experience®.

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• You will also maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Compensation Information

$20.75-$29.00 / Hourly
