Middletown Family Dentistry PA is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our team. You will work alongside dentists and hygienists to deliver outstanding patient care while supporting scheduling, patient records, and daily front office tasks.

The ideal candidate has current radiology certification, prior dental assistant experience, strong communication, and a positive, team-oriented attitude in a family-friendly environment.

  • Maintain infection control per OSHA and CDC guidelines.

Job Summary

Middletown Family Dentistry has expanded and is seeking a qualified, caring, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team! We are committed to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming, family-oriented environment where both our patients and team members feel valued and respected.

As a Dental Assistant, you will work alongside our dentists and hygienists to deliver outstanding patient care while ensuring an efficient and positive experience for every patient. This position also includes assisting with administrative responsibilities, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting the daily operations of the practice.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist and hygienist during examinations and dental procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms before each patient and properly clean and sterilize instruments and rooms after use.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) (Current Radiology Certification Required).
  • Provide exceptional patient care and educate patients on oral health and post-treatment instructions.
  • Maintain infection control protocols and comply with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
  • Accurately document patient information and assist with charting as needed.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with other front office and administrative duties when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide an outstanding patient experience.
Qualifications
  • Current Radiology (X-ray) Certification required (must be obtained through an accredited program).
  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
