Job summary

The Learning Experience Mueller is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to create a positive, engaging learning environment for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. You will help shape the culture of our BRAND NEW center and drive growth for the right candidate.

You will lead lesson planning, collaborate with teammates, and support families to ensure high-quality care and instruction in a fast-paced, nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (Mandatory).
• CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate).
• Associate’s degree in early childhood education (Preferred).
• Be familiar with the Texas minimum standards.
• Exhibit a patient, welcoming, nurturing attitude with young learners and families.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• 2+ years of experience in early child education.
• Happy Happens Here attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans supporting early childhood development across cognitive, social-emotional, and physical domains.
• Monitor and document Littler Learners progress, understanding milestones and their importance.
• Identify and respond to individual needs of each child.
• Create safe, happy spaces with high standards of clean, safe, organized classrooms.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with families and keep them informed and engaged.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to foster a supportive, joyful learning environment and guide the classroom team.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that support early childhood development across cognitive, social-emotional, and physical domains.

• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to foster a supportive, joyful learning environment and center culture. Lead and guide your classroom team to ensure high-quality care and instruction.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions.

Working Conditions

• This is a full-time, hourly position in a licensed childcare environment, providing care and support for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years.

Physical Requirements

• Be able to lift 40 pounds
