Job summary

SERVPRO of Howard County is seeking a detail-oriented estimator to prepare scopes of work and estimates for restoration projects. The role involves leveraging Xactimate, embracing AI tools to draft and review estimates, and coordinating approvals with customers and insurance carriers.

You will manage multiple platforms, touch every job daily, and educate clients on the estimating process while supporting a fast-paced hub environment in the Maryland territory.

Qualifications

• Superb customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in restoration and/or construction estimating is required.
• High school diploma or GED (degree preferred).
• Experience in construction project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and assist in the estimating process for Xactimate construction projects.
• Manage multiple platforms for estimate requirements.
• Touch every job daily to keep the estimate moving and get approval.
• Educate customers on the estimating process and steps.
• Assist with other estimating duties as assigned by the HUB manager.
• Identify and document project scope of work.
• Maintain communications with customers, clients, and third parties.

Job Description:

Prepare a scope of work, create an estimate, embrace AI technology to write and review estimates. Verify and make changes to estimates, garner approvals, and meet the changing demands of our customers and insurance carriers.

Responsibilities:

• Create and assist in the estimating process for Xactimate construction projects
• Manage multiple platforms for estimate requirements
• Touch every job every day and keep the job moving and get the estimate approved
• Educate customers on process
• Assist with other estimating duties as assigned by the estimating HUB manager
• Identify and document project scope of work
• Maintain customer, client, and third party communications

Qualifications:

• Superb customer service track record
• Effective written and oral communication
• Experience in restoration and/or construction estimating is a must
• High school diploma/GED (Degree Preferred)
• Experience in the construction project management field
• Proficient in Xactimate
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
