Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Concrete Pump Operator to join our team in Lewisville, TX. You should have 3-5 years experience operating concrete pumping equipment, specifically 39-65 meter boom pumps. If you have worked on Schwing, Putz, and Alliance trucks that's a plus. A strong work ethic and ability to make decisions when it's stressful will make you a standout! You must have a current CDL (Texas preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate 39-65 meter boom concrete pumps safely.
• Set up and take down all concrete pumping equipment on job sites.
• Coordinate with customers and ready mix producers to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with pumping equipment.
• Connect multiple hoses together & position/reposition hoses.
• Shovel spilled concrete back into Company hopper.
• Operate pump using radio remote, cable remote or manual leers.
• Communicate problems on job site immediately to the office for direction.
• Conduct routine maintenance on pumps (i.e.: pipe, elbow & gasket replacement).
• Conduct pre-trip & post-trip inspections on trucks.
• Thoroughly clean pump after finishing the job/day (i.e.: cab, remotes, side boxes, system, pump, boom, etc.).
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work long hours.
• Operate in a stressful environment.
• Follow all safety policies and company procedures on site.

• Ability to work professionally with customers and ready mix producers, even in stressful situations.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds above your head.
• Ability to push & pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (10 – 12+ hours per day).
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
• Possess good manual dexterity to climb on and around the pump truck in all weather conditions common to the north Texas area.
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain, cleated walkways and wire mesh.
• Ability/willingness to work with outside temperatures that include extreme heat, cold, wind and rain.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time while driving concrete pump truck.
