Job summary
Roscoe Brown is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. You will service rooftop units up to 50 tons, VRF systems, boilers, chillers, and related equipment, delivering exceptional customer service.
You will work with modern diagnostic tools, receive strong dispatcher support, and benefit from company-paid education, insurance, a 401(k) match, and opportunities for advancement.
Qualifications
- Commercial HVAC service experience is required.
- Experience servicing rooftop units up to 50 tons and VRF systems, boilers, chillers, and refrigeration.
- EPA certification is required and strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment.
- Service rooftop units up to 50 tons, VRF systems, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, exhaust and fresh air systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment with diagnostic tools.
- Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.
- Educate customers on operation and repair options; provide informed recommendations.
- Mentor apprentices and fellow technicians as needed.

As an Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and service commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment
- Service rooftop units up to 50 tons, mini-splits, VRF systems, boilers, chillers, refrigeration equipment, exhaust systems, and fresh air systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment using digital volt meters and diagnostic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Accurately diagnose equipment issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions
- Educate customers on system operation, repair options, and replacement recommendations so they can make informed decisions
- Complete work orders, service documentation, and equipment records accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked company vehicle
- Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and leadership
- Mentor apprentices and fellow technicians as needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every visit

- Has experience diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC systems

- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must reside in Tennessee at the time of hire and maintain Tennessee throughout employment
