Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking an Experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for the General Medicine & Pulmonary unit. The role supports nursing staff in delivering compassionate pediatric care, including vital signs, documentation, and procedure assistance.

The unit handles ages from birth to young adulthood, focusing on respiratory illnesses and complex medical needs. Night shifts and every third weekend are required, with extensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current Illinois CNA certification with good standing.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of acute care hospital experience is strongly preferred.

Specialization in respiratory illnesses: asthma, RSV, flu, bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis & pneumonia.Also care for a wide variety of patients with general medical needs including medically complex patients with chronic conditions & behavioral issues.**Position we are hiring for:**Nightshift and every third weekend**Minimum Qualifications:**High School Diploma or equivalent.Successful completion of an accredited CNA Program.Current certification as a CNA in the State of Illinois, active/good standing.
