Job summary

Right at Home West Palm Beach is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist clients in Vero Beach, Florida. The role includes helping with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and meal preparation. Caregivers must have a valid driver's license, a minimum of two years of experience with elderly clients, and preferably experience with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Pass drug test, criminal background check, and written competency evaluation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with the elderly or frail population.
• Preferred: Experience working with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
• TB test or Chest X-ray required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and provide companionship.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair.
• Perform light housekeeping activities.
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Drive clients to appointments as needed.
• Medication reminders.
• Take and record vitals as needed.
• Follow nurses orders for Hospital at Home program.
