Job summary

QXO is seeking experienced carpenters for residential production building across the greater Chicago area. The team handles exterior trim, decks, framing, interior trim, roof sheathing, and back-out work, coordinating with Foremen and field leadership to maintain production pace.

Applicants should have residential carpentry experience, be able to work on active sites, and handle physically demanding outdoor work. Travel between project sites is possible based on business needs.

We are actively seekingexperienced Carpenters specializing in exterior trim, decks, framing, interior trim, sheathing roofs, or back-outwho can work closely withForemen and field leadershipto drive production and quality.

Project Locations

This role supports active residential construction projects throughout the greater Chicago area, including the following counties and communities:

• Will County:Plainfield, Joliet, Lockport, New Lenox, Manhattan
• DuPage County:Aurora, Naperville, Woodridge, Lombard, Warrenville
• Kane County:Aurora, St. Charles, Elgin, Batavia, Huntley, Pingree Grove, Sugar Grove
• Kendall County:Oswego, Yorkville, Montgomery
• Cook County:Tinley Park, Schaumburg, Bartlett, Lemont, Hoffman Estates, Northbrook
• Lake County:Mundelein, Volo
• McHenry County:Huntley, Crystal Lake, Johnsburg
• DeKalb County:DeKalb, Sycamore, Genoa, Cortland, Maple Park, Sandwich, Somonauk, Kingston

Travel between project sites may be required based on business needs.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience inresidential carpentry, with specialization in:

• Ability to work directly with and take direction fromForemen and field leadership
• Strong ability to work independently and produce quality work
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
